Houde Student Competes in Swiss Tiziano Rossetti Online Competition

One of our Senior 1 students, Fang Zixuan is about to compete in the second competition of the famous Swiss Tiziano Rossetti Music Academy in Switzerland.

 

What is the Tiziano Rossetti Music Academy?

 

 

Tiziano Rossetti is a famous European musician who has, according to the website of the Academy, “performed in over than five hundred concerts in Italy and abroad and won more than sixty first-place international awards.” He is the founder of an exclusive Academy in Lugano, Switzerland where world-famous masters will guide students to study their instrument and perfect their skills to start a successful international career.

 

 

 

What is the benefit of the competition?

In the first competition more than 2000 scholarships were given out to competitors of their respective fields (Soloists and Groups; various instruments, opera singers, chamber music, jazz, etc.).

 

How did Houde Academy got to know about the competition?

Our teachers and staff are always searching for once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for our students to stand out when applying for international universities abroad. One of our teachers found an advertisement of the competition online and shared it immediately with our students with special talents to ask them if they want to sign up for it.

 

What was Fang Zixuan’s music performance?

How to apply for the Online Competition?

The Tiziano Rossetti International Music Academy has detailed information about their competition of their website. (Tiziano Rossetti International Music Academy (tizianorossettiacademy.com))

The competitor needs to perform a piece of music alone or with a group together first and sign up by paying the application fee. Then, there is an application form to be filled in with details about the competitor and the music performance. Finally, a video of the music performance needs to be uploaded on YouTube, the link, the application form, and other documents such as notes that were used, ID card and payment receipt need to be sent via email to the Academy.
